HERD is a laid-back café rooted in the rhythm of the farm. From morning coffees and freshly baked cakes to easy lunches, it’s a place to gather, share and unwind.
Expect hearty plates that follow the seasons estate-grown produce.
PRIVATE DINING
We offer private dining for groups up to 20 inside and 40 outside. We are focused on a farm to fork experience, we can work with you to create a unique menu using produce off the farm.
Dining can range from relaxed evenings to 4 course meals. Starting from £50pp.
We offer a selection of house wines, beers and spirits in pre set drinks packages .
Please note: cancellations within 10 days of the event will incur a fee of £25 per head, and final numbers and dietary requirements must be confirmed 10 days in advance.

We are 35 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh. You can find out on apple and google maps or by using the postcode EH395NY. Please be aware that maps may take you to our back entrance.
Walking
You can walk directly to HERD along the John Muir way from North Berwick. Follow signs to the Law car park and then head due South. It takes around one hour from North Berwick Train station.
For our dinner services we can offer Land Rover pick up from the train station.
