What’s included
The course is flat and multi-terrain, mixing groomed estate paths with proper muddy farmland, and follows parts of the John Muir Way. Race HQ sits at Balgone with shelter, toilets and the start and finish in the same place.
Both distances have their own prize giving. The 5k is a good introduction to winter trail running, and the 18k is the full series distance.
FoxTrail is a three-race winter series. Race 1 is at Foxlake Adventures in Dunbar, and Races 2 and 3 are both here at Balgone.
The race is organised by Durty Events. Balgone hosts the event and entries are handled by the organiser.
